Frivolity

We sometimes have interesting conversations at work...
To summarize:
Why do people say "assless chaps"? By definition, chaps are assless. If chaps had an ass they would be pants. Now if you said "assless pants", it would make some sense, you would conjure up an image that probably would look a lot like chaps. But "assless chaps" is just silly redundancy.

You are so right!! I just checked my websters, and under "chaps" it says, "assless pants" :P

By the way - why are you talking about assless pants and/or chaps at work???

I work with some interesting characters and quite often they are more like teenage boys than mature men. It does make for some entertaining conversations though.
